Summer ePacket

HCSD uses an online tool to distribute and collect all of the beginning of the year forms and information this summer. By using an online student registration/data validation system, powered by InfoSnap:

HCSD will be able to verify all student demographic, emergency and health information for your child prior to the start of the new school year.

Parents will be able to electronically sign annual permission forms for school district policies.

Parents can confirm their contact information for the APG Four School Directory. (Please note: This will be the only opportunity to verify contact information for the directory.)

Parents can complete all of the forms and emergency card information from the summer packet online.

In early August, parents will receive two emails from HCSD. The first email will include a letter from the interim Superintendent, your child's principal and a PDF attachment with informational handouts from the school, APG, and parent group. The second email will be sent from InfoSnap with directions on how to access the online system for your child, it will contain:

An individualized link that will direct you to the InfoSnap website and connects directly to your child's information that HCSD has uploaded from our PowerSchool student information database.

You will create an account, that you will use each year for this process, and complete the online form for each of your children enrolled in the district. The San Mateo Union High School District also uses InfoSnap for registration. If you have created an account for SMUSD, you will be able to use your same log-in credentials for HCSD.

You will have the option to copy all family information to your other children's form after completing the first child's form.

Reminder emails will be sent out throughout August, with the goal for all parents to complete the online summer packet/re-registration before the first day of school on August 18, 2021.

We are excited to implement the new online process for the summer packet/re-registration. We believe this process will streamline and simplify completing and turning in all of the summer packet forms and flyers for parents. For the district, this new process will minimize the amount of paperwork that the teachers and secretaries need to sort and organize during the first few days of school. It will also allow the district to more accurately update parent contact information changes within our PowerSchool student information database.

Between now and August 1st, please email Nichole Balsells (nbalsells@hcsdk8.org) with any address, phone, or email changes.

If you have any questions about the new process, please contact Maureen Sullivan at MSullivan@hcsdk8.org.
