Graduation activities are to still be determined based on San Mateo County of Health Directives

Please remember the DRESS CODE for the Graduation ceremony:

For planning purposes:  Determine what you’re doing for lunch after the graduation ceremony - This is your heads up… Whether you want to do something with just your family or some of your child’s friends, now is a good time to figure it out. The ceremony will be done by 12:30.

June th - 8th Grade Parent Reception:  A fun evening with your fellow 8th grade parents.  If you have not yet registered, please do so by responding to the invitation.  If you did not receive the invitation, please contact the Graduation committee chairpersons; Paige, Ellen or Wenda.

June th - Great America:  Students should come to school by 7:30am and will return to Crocker at around 4:00pm. If you have not done so, please turn in your child's permission form.

June th - 8th Grade Graduation Practice (Crocker):  Graduation practice at Crocker School.

June th - Graduation Rehearsal Lunch and Video:  8th graders will see the memory video and enjoy lunch together at Crocker. There is no need to send or order lunch this day; a special lunch will be provided to all 8th graders.  The lunch will be catered by Panda Express and there will be a variety of choices, including vegetarian (i.e.meat-free) options.* There also will be a homemade dessert bar!  All food items will be clearly labeled.  If your child has special food allergies or you have questions regarding the lunch, please contact the office. *Your child's Memory DVD will be distributed at the end of the Rehearsal Lunch.

June  th- Graduation Rehearsal at the SM Performing Arts Center:  Buses will transport students to the Performing Arts Center (600 N. Delaware St, San Mateo) in the morning after drop off and bring them back to school for lunch.

June th - Graduation:  Please drop your student off at 2:00pm at the San Mateo Performing Arts Center (PAC).  Guests and parents will also be able to enter the PAC at 2:15pm.  Parking is available behind the PAC or on side streets.  The Graduation Ceremony will begin at 3:00pm and will last approximately 1 1/2 hours.  There is a strict dress code for the graduates.  **Girls: White or off-white Dress (not multi-colored) - no shorter than mid thigh. Must have sleeves or straps. Attire must be appropriate for a daytime school event (no strapless dresses, low cut front, too short, too tight, backless or bare midriff dresses). Shoes: Recommended two-three inch maximum heel; can be open or closed toe (no tennis shoes, boots or flip flops allowed). **Boys: Dark suit or sports coat with slacks (no jeans, shorts or tuxedos). White shirt and tie required. Shoes: Dress shoes. No tennis shoes or flip flops allowed.**STUDENTS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE IF THEY ARE NOT IN PROPER ATTIRE**

June th - Graduation Dance:  The Graduation Dance will be held in the Crocker MPR from 7:00pm-9:00pm.   

Attire: Girls: Semi-formal dress or top & skirt, no shorter than mid thigh length. Attire should be appropriate for an evening school event. Boys: Collared shirt and khaki/ dress pants. No jeans or shorts please. Tennis shoes allowed. 

Graduation DVD or Extra Copy of Memory Video (optional):  If you wish to purchase a copy of the Graduation DVD (produced by Sally Rayn) or an extra copy of the Memory Video, please complete the appropriate forms in your Graduation ePacket, and drop them off prior to June th in the HTV box in the Crocker Office.

Graduation and Dance Photos:  Professional photographers will capture the ceremony, take photos of the graduates and their families after the ceremony, and take candids during the first hour of the Graduation Dance.  We will send you the link to purchase those photos when it becomes available.
